Vision

The Department of Fisheries' Fisheries Science Study Program has a vision to carry out, namely "To become the leading integrated and sustainable Postgraduate program in Fisheries Sciences in Indonesia in 2030". This vision is in accordance with the vision of the Faculty of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Sciences, namely "Center of Reference in the Development of Coastal and Marine Resources Management in 2030" and Hasanuddin University, namely "Center of Excellence in Human Development, Science, Technology, Arts and Culture based on the Indonesian Maritime Continent in 2030 ”

Mission

To realize the scientific vision, the Fisheries Science Study Program has the following missions:

1. Organize postgraduate education in fishery science that is integrated and sustainable
2. Carrying out research and community service in fisheries science that is integrated and sustainable

Objective

The objectives of the Fisheries Science Study Program are:

(1) Producing Master's graduates with an integrated and sustainable outlook on Fisheries Science
(2) Produce and develop Fisheries Science studies to support integrated and sustainable fisheries development and management
(3) Conduct an integrated and sustainable review of the results of fisheries science studies for the benefit of the fishing community.
